One of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh and quite literally the best Thai in Pittsburgh! Portions are huge, great prices. Cute vibe, good service! Always busy so usually a little bit of a wait on the weekends but well worth it. Also love ordering takeout from here their pad se ew is just the best!!!

Went here for lunch the other day and cannot say enough good things about my experience. The service was great - attentive but not overbearing. I was taken aback - at first - when the server seating me asked right away if I needed a minute or if I knew what I wanted. Huh? I hadn't even seen the menu! BUT - I soon learned, most people coming in were regulars who knew exactly what they wanted. A good sign! I ordered some hot lemongrass tea - which was really flavorful and comforting in the face of a rainy, chilly day. The server assured me I could have all the refills I wanted - which was nice. I ordered the very popular Khao Soi (Chiang Mai Curry) which was fantastic! It came in a giant bowl - beautiful presentation with a lattice work of dry noodles on top that soften after you push them down into the bubbling hot, dreamy creamy yellow coconut curry sauce. Hello, Thai comfort food!!! I thought - good lord, I'll never finish all this food, but oh, YES, I did...I got shrimp, which were large, plump & juicy. Absolute YUM in a bowl. I was a little hesitant with "pickled mustard greens" - but they add depth to the bowl, and crispy shallots add a nice, light oniony savoriness. I'm already ready to go back -- always a good sign. The ambiance is nice -- kind of industrial chic with some Asian-esque twists. Really great experience.

This place has the best food for a great price! The atmosphere is inviting and warm. The staff are always accommodating and friendly every time I've gone here. Food usually comes out fast and is always flavorful. It's also byob if you're into that.

Pad thai tofu was delicious! Also loved the vegetable puffs. Busy but we got a table quick. They take credit cards even though online it says cash.

We did not get to dine in but from the look of the line it's quite a coveted Pittsburgh gem! We decided to order online and did have a 1.5-2 hour wait for our food to be ready for pick-up but we expected it. The pick-up adjacent to the restaurant made the pick-up process seamless. The food: truly incredible we order the sum tum (papaya salad), Chiang Mai curry/ khao soi with chicken, and the khao Panang curry beef. Everything was to die for.

I'm absolutely thrilled that Noodlehead got some new menu items and takes credit card now!! Your whole party has to be there before you can be seated. We all got there shortly after 6pm and it soon got very packed after we got seated. There's plenty of seating inside and it's good for groups of 2-6 people I would say. The inside was incredibly dark, like I have a hard time reading the menu or seeing what my food actually looks like dark. Our food came out incredibly quickly and it was delicious and reasonably priced.

I stopped into Noodlehead for a quick lunch during my workday, and I am so glad I did. I apparently was in a porky mood, as I ordered both the pork skewers and pork belly steamed buns. Both were phenomenal. The pork skewers were cooked perfectly, and the sweet chili sauce was an excellent pairing. The pork buns were juicy with a hint of sweetness mixed in with the savory. My waitress was attentive and kind and checked in with me regularly. Though it was busy for lunch, I found that the noise level was fine to get a bit of work done while I ate. I will definitely be adding this to my list of lunch spots!

This is one of my favorite go to spots. And now is even better with their extended take out section and they even take credit cards. New for 2025 an extended menu but I still go with my tried and trues. The food is exceptional and one of the best tasting tofu around. The service is incredible. Our server Caitlyn is amazing. And I love the fact that you can byob for a cork fee. If you are in the mood for this and have never stopped at Noodlehead you must.

As evident by my photos, I've been coming to Noodlehead for over 7 years! It's wild even for me to think about. It's wilder to know that they now accept credit cards! I know, I never thought I'd see this day come...*sheds tear of joy* The good thing is that the food, taste and quality have remained. They've even added some new tasty items to the menu. I recently tried the chive cakes as enjoyed them. While the price has increased from like $10 to $14 for entrees (yup it was inevitable), I'm happy to report that it's still worth it. And still BYOB. The staff is always friendly, patient with inconsiderate patrons, and helpful. Come here for lunch on a weekday; it's quiet and chill. Come after 5pm on a weekend, it's loud and busy. You'll probably wait at least 30 minutes even for two.
